About the Author

Joseph Delaney is president and general manager of the construction management services group at Delaney CMS in Union Springs, New York. He is the former president of C&S Design Build Inc., C&S’s program and construction management company, where he started the agency construction management business, and in his 12-year career there, developed it into the fastest-growing and most profitable of the firms’ business units. At C&S, Joe was responsible for more than $1 billion in completed projects in the education, municipal, wastewater, airport, and private development sectors. In his 25 years as a construction professional, Joe has served in many roles including those of project engineer, design coordinator, superintendent, construction manager, program manager, general manager, and president. Joe is a licensed professional engineer, holds the Program Management Professional (PgMP®) credential, is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM®), and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) accredited professional. Joe is the only person in the world with all of these credentials.

In addition, he is an expert critical path method scheduler and has presented both nationally and internationally on construction program management. Joe received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He enjoys sharing his experience leading teams, and has provided leadership training to senior management including his colleagues at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executive Institute and at Fortune 500 companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Inc. Joe was recently the keynote speaker at the Tri-State Diversity Summit where he shared Delaney CMS’s (a woman-owned business enterprise) vision for equality and empowerment.

About the Author

Stefanie Dühr is Associate Professor in the Department of Spatial Planning, Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University Nijmegen. She holds a PhD in spatial planning from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and a geography degree from the University of Trier. Her main research interests are comparative planning systems, cartographic representations in spatial planning, and European territorial cooperation. She is the author of The Visual Language of Spatial Planning, and editor of the policy debates section of the journal Regional Studies.

Claire Colomb is Lecturer in Urban Sociology and European Spatial Planning at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. She holds a degree in politics and sociology from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and a PhD in planning from University College London, and previously worked for the European transnational cooperation programme INTERREG IIIB. Her research interests include comparative urban governance, planning and urban policies in European cities, urban sociology, and European territorial cooperation.

Vincent Nadin is Professor of Spatial Planning and Strategy in the Department of Urbanism, Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology. He is a visiting researcher at Leibniz University, Hannover. His main research interest is comparative planning systems. He is joint author of Town and Country Planning in the UK, and editor of the journal Planning Practice and Research.

An all too familiar struggle in my walk with Christ.

Andrew Womack hit the nail on the head,as far as my walk with Jesus. I am all that is mentioned in this book and more. I have prayed the prayer in the last chapter and ask others to do the same. I want to serve the awesome God that we have, if only I(self) can stay out of the way. Mr Wommack's book "Self Centeredness:The Root of All Grief" was a gift from God.Praise be to Jesus!

Probably the easiet most profound ministry book I have read in a very long time. Short but so powerful. I just sent these to several friends and the coolest thing is that they have had the hardest time getting through it because conviction just sets in. AMAZING AMAZING LITTLE BOOK!!!

I was appauled at the title but decided to order this booklet just to see what the author has to say. After reading page 1 and 2 titled "The Root Issue" I love what he has to say and agree I was self centered about my mother and sisters death in 2005. I highly recommend this booklet and am ordering two more to give to my family members to help them with their grief.

About the Author
M. Davies is Associate Professor of Classical Languages and Literature, and Fellow of St John's College, Oxford. He has published a study of the Theban epics, editions of the fragments of Greek epic and lyric poetry, a commentary on Sophocles' Trachiniae, and (with J. Kathirithamby) a book on Greek insects, as well as many articles on Greek poetry, especially its interactions with folk-tale and other mythological traditions.

P. J. Finglass is Professor of Greek and Head of the Department of Classics, University of Nottingham, and Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. He has published editions of Sophocles' Electra and Ajax, and Pindar's Pythian Eleven with Cambridge, as well as many articles on archaic and classical Greek literature. In 2012 he was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize by the Leverhulme Trust. His research for this book was funded by an Early Career Fellowship awarded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Academics only! Not for general readers

This is strictly a scholar's book, not for general consumption. The advertisement made it seem as though the book included translations. There are translations, but one line or one fragment at a time buried amidst voluminous commentary and practically impossible to ferret out. The translations are competent, but hardly poetic. I was terribly disappointed with this book. It goes really little further with the existing Stesichorus oeuvre than the Loeb Classics series from years before as far as I can see. Maybe classics scholars will see it differently.

The quality of the book production is excellent, of course, which explains the high price. Scholars of ancient Greek poetry, especially Stesichorus experts, will no doubt find this a fascinating read. The historical commentary for each fragment is rigorous and excellent as far as this lay reader can tell. This is really for the expert, the graduate student, post-doc or professor of classics literature.

Because it is so well produced, I gave it three stars, though personally I would have given it only one star for false advertising and my overall disappointment.
