About the Author
James F. Lea, Jr. is the Chair of the Petroleum Engineering Department of Texas Tech University, where he has taught since 1999. Previous to his teaching experience, Dr. Lea worked in the industry for 20 years for Amoco as a special research associate and team leader of the Optimization and Production Group. He taught at the University of Arkansas from 1975 to 1978, and, before that, he worked as a senior research engineer at the famed Sun Oil Company in Richardson, Texas. Dr. Lea holds 8 patents and has co-authored 2 books, including one from Pennwell, and has himself authored numerous articles.

Although Windows Server 2012 R2 has been out for several years now, many administrators are still working with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 (or even Windows XP and 2003 Server!). If you fall in to this category, this book is for you. The Windows Server 2012 R2 Administrator Cookbook by Jordan Krause is a great resource to use to begin learning about the new roles, features, and management interfaces in the latest Windows network operating system. The “cookbook” format is conducive to quick learning, as the book is conveniently arranged in clear and concise “recipes” for each administrative task. The book provides a high level overview of nearly all aspects of the operating system, including configuring and administration using the server manager and PowerShell for DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, security, networking, remote access, IIS, certificate services (PKI), and much more. If you’re new to the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system, I’m sure you’ll find this title helpful.

Some computer books tell you WHAT tasks you need to perform, but leave you in the dark as to exactly HOW to perform them.

This book, on the other hand, give you clear, concise, step-by-step instructions for many of the common tasks performed by Windows Server administrators. (The chapter on certificates alone is worth the price of the book.)

This is a collection of some works by Edgar Allen Poe. The book includes: The Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Purloined Letter, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar, The Pit and the Pendulum, A Tale of the Ragged Mountains, A descent into the Maelstrom, The Black Cat, "Thou Art the Man," and Matzengerstein. It has been some years since I read the book, but I do remember enjoying it.

one of the best mystery books of all time

Edgar Allan poe can write mysteries like no other writer. I love mystery books but this one no other writer can compare to. Each mystery has a porpose, a meaning and a moral. Another great thing about the book was the wide time scale that the mysteries were placed on, in-fact one of them happend in the stone age and another in the 1920's. Over all it was an ecellant book and I would definatley recomend it to any mystery lover.
